The release of version 2.5 marked the beginning of a new chapter for piqlConnect. After the software was put into production last year, this version completes the end-to-end support, offering both secure long-term storage and retrievalon piqlFilm through the user interface, all easily managed through your account. The release also includes lots of new functionality, including normalisation of the most common file formats, role permissions, dashboard with statistics and dedicated features for our partners, including organisations, to more easily manage accounts in the software. The release also sees the introduction of FTP support as an upload mechanism and being complemented with a more robust uploader in the web interface, now having multiple ways of uploading data.
