The 2.7 version release of piqlConnect had focus on robustness of the solution. Several bugs have been fixed when dealing with larger number (1 mill+) of files in the system under one account, as well as increasing the efficiency of the loading process under Archived Files.

We have continued to improve the user experience, by enhancing some of the visual capabilities of the software and moving some of the most used features around to make them more accessible.

The release also introduced the use of ISAD(G) as a standardized metadata schema, now being able to be used on file level. It is now also possible to add metadata on a folder level as some users have requested.

Lastly, we have now introduced a brand new support site for piqlConnect with start-up guides for new users, user guides and tutorial videos for users to easier be able to manage the system themselves.

💡The support site can be access through clicking the “Support button” on the left side menu, and is also available through the link support.piql.com.
