You can choose to only store on piqlFilm (Offline storage), only an Online copy or only in the ‘Frozen cloud’. You can of course also have a combination of storage on piqlFilm with Online or Frozen cloud.
For piqlFilm there are a few sub-selections that you need to do;

Everything easily chosen through the Checkout area. 2. If only storing data on piqlFilm, it is also possible to choose having only the ID of the piqlFilm or if you would like to have the ID, the titles of the files and the metadata structure for the piqlFilm visible in piqlConnect. The actual files will not be available until you ask for a retrieval, but it gives you a nice overview of the content.
If you don’t want to store the data on piqlFilm, you can choose between Online and Frozen cloud.
Online means that all data in the package will be accessible to be downloaded instantly and has a higher price per GB per month. It is offered as a subscription and you have it accessible as long as you have an active subscription.
Frozen cloud means that all data in the package is stored on a nearline storage medium through the cloud. The data has to be retrieved through the system in the same way as with piqlFilm and the files should be available within 15 hours. You will be notified by the system when the files are available for download.
! For the first 90 days after submission there is an extra retrieval cost using the Frozen cloud. Ask us if you have questions around this.
